sabbath_school_personal_ministriesThe Sabbath School & Personal Ministries Department provides full religious education for church members of all ages, including Sabbath School bible study guides and material for programming on Saturday mornings and other activities during the rest of the week. The department also supplies training and resources to local teachers of religious education and other members, promotes personal and world missions, and designs programs and resources to equip and train members to minister to and serve their communities.

The Sabbath School is the biggest school of the world with about 21 millions students spreaded in more than 200 countries. Every week our members study daily the same lesson that introduce each quarter a different topic from the bible. On Sabbath, they sum it up and review the lessons within their classes. It is through this great school that most part of the Adventists around the world are discipled, strengthens the faith in the Word of God, deepens the communion and preparing to personal testimony.

Personal Ministries is a facet of the church whose origin can be traced to the beginning of Seventh-day Adventist® history in the 1860s. It endeavors to inspire, motivate, equip, train, and mobilize all members for dynamic Christian service with the conviction that “The church of Christ is organized for service” (Ministry of Healing, p. 148) and “Every son and daughter of God is called to be a missionary; we are called to the service of God and our fellow men” (The Ministry of Healing, p. 395). The Personal Ministries Department was established as an important agency for soul winning within the church.
